- Junking: The retrieval of objects and
materials before they go to the
land-fill...
- Scrapping: Accumulating materials,
usually metals but also other valuble
materials to be sold at scrap yards
usually by the pound, for a profit...
- Trash: Possibly good junk...
- Garbage: Worthless junk...
- Junk: Hidden treasure...
- Piles: The way trash is piled up...
- Stash: Stuff from junk that's put
aside until it can later be retrieved
and relocated...
- Treasure: A junk find that's worth
lots of money...
- Store: Putting junk finds into a
secure place...
- Smalls: Small things that can be
hand carried...
- Hardwood: Objects made of oak, mahogany,
walnut or any other tree that sheds it's leaves annually ...(deciduous trees)...
- Veneer: Thin layers of paper, or wood
bonded to object's surfaces, usually for decoration...
- Antique: Old... 50-100 years or more...
- "Old": Not been seen around much...
- Odds-n-Ends: Various things that don't
fall under the heading of furniture...
- "As Is": Taken in the condition it
currently is in...
- "No Refunds": Non-refundable...
- Shorting: Removing part of an object
and stashing it so that the total object
is worthless, usually done to buy time
until the total object can be retrieved later...
