Uses the slight: finger backslip
The left hand index finger slides the back top card back protruding it slightly and the right hand thumb pulls it into the right hand, palming it
...then the right hand slides forward over the deck and deposits the palmed card on to the face card,
and then the right hand continues to slide over the left hand until it is clear and turns over to show it is empty
This appears as though the face card has magically changed...
