Interlude Illusion

Magician enters a tall form fitting structure and the front is covered... then an Assistant magically passes thru the structure from the rear and thru the Magician's body and out the front...

#30 Interlude Illusion
Uses these magic procedures: Misdirection, Special Props, Camera Angles

The tall Box is designed to make it seem that when the Magician gets inside, he "fills" the whole width area... but actually there is sufficient room on either side, especially at his waist midsection area...

The Magician, after the cover is placed infront, does a midsection "twist" or simply moves his midsection to his right as far as possible, all the while being careful not to show any movement in his legs, head, arms or shoulders...

This creates a space about 10 inches wide and about 12 inches in vertical height right next to his body (to his left side) and away from the right inner wall of the Box (from the audience view)...

This "space" is hard to imagine to the viewers, but the "frame" opening width, all the way around is about 4 inches, and this helps hide the hidden space temporarily created inside, thru which an assistant can crawl thru...

Music, lights, pyrotechnics, background scenery, camera angles and the actions of the performers add to the misdirection away from these hidden aspects of this piece of Magic...
